
If you’ve suffered very much because of a person, it may be very difficult to forgive, but you must know that this forgiveness can be helpful for you.
We are used to look at forgiveness like a sign of weakness. Like the other one escapes unpunished. But forgiving doesn’t necessarily mean that. You can forgive by trying to figure out what was that person thinking about and why he/she did that. It doesn’t mean that you forget about what he/she has done. It simply helps you see the original problem.
This kind of forgiveness helps you eliminate the negative thoughts about that person and live your life better. You must accept the situation in which you were put without your knowledge.
There are some steps to forgiveness:

If you are in front of a bad situation or news about a person, first of all express your feelings. It’s very important to not keep it all inside you. Think about what feelings this brings out of you and why.
Secondly, be logical. Why did he/she did that? What can be the motive? Can there really be a good motive?
And thirdly, put yourself in his/hers position. Would you do the same?
Don’t rush with your emotions or anger. Try to understand the ones around you and if they make you feel bad, don’t let these feelings aspirate you. Live your life logically!
